The Villa

It is located in a quiet area just a few minutes from the historic center of Castellina in Chianti (About 400 m); 15 km from Monteriggioni, a small medieval village; 18 km from Colle di Val d’Elsa, the city of crystal; 20 km from Siena, the renowned city of the Palio; 32 km from San Gimignano, a UNESCO heritage site famous for its towers; 38 km from Certaldo, Boccaccio’s city; 46 km from Volterra, famous for the extraction and processing of alabaster; 45 km from Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance; 105 km from Pisa, with its leaning tower and 100 km from the Tuscan coast.
The pool
The beautiful swimming pool is a corner of paradise, thanks to the panoramic view over the Chianti hills and the Tuscan vineyards. It is equipped with umbrellas, sun loungers, tables and chairs. By the pool you can enjoy fantastic drinks, fruit and vegetable juices and cold drinks. The villa is surrounded by a secular park of about two hectares, with attention to the smallest details, within which there is a pond with turtles and fish, an ancient source with water lilies and a Madonna dating back to the last century. It is ideal for a regenerating break, walking among its majestic trees while breathing in the pure air of the Tuscan countryside. Inside the Italian garden, there is a tennis court.
Interior and services
All common areas and rooms are covered by free Wi-Fi, plus guests have access to a private underground parking and a cozy reading room with an antique fireplace.
The hotel has 12 rooms of different types, they are equipped with: Wi-fi; flat screen tv; bathroom with shower or bathtub; hairdryer; blackout curtains; courtesy set; large windows overlooking the Chianti area in the garden of the villa. The floors are in parquet, carpet or terracotta.
On request we offer: transfer service from the arrival / departure terminal; car, scooter and bicycle rental for walks in the wonderful Tuscan countryside; various types of wellness treatments; yoga courses; daily tours to discover the surrounding area and its beauties; wine tour in Chianti; first and second level wine lessons with visits to the vineyard e cooking lessons to learn the secrets of traditional local dishes.
Breakfast
The breakfast buffet is served from 8:00 to 10:00 in the downstairs room with direct access to the garden. On request we also have products for intolerances and allergies, including celiac disease.
